Jamie's Birthday Party

We had a family birthday party for Jamie at H2Oasis,a popular water park in Anchorage. It was so much fun! Everyone had a wonderful time doing the Lazy river on inner tubes, the Master Blaster, and the Body Slide. Jamie, Mercedes, Alanna, and Megan ran around doing things together. Sheila, Tyler, Kari, and I went on the Master Blaster right away and I almost "chickened" out.

I rode the double inner tube with Gerry through the Master Blaster and screamed all the way through it with my eyes shut. After the first initial bump on my bottom I yelled at Gerry "Pick your butt up, pick your butt up." He said later he didn't
hear him and he hurt almost all the way through until he figured out he needed to pick his butt up to keep from hitting the bottom of the tube we were skimming through.

Matthew enjoyed the water and I had some good opportunities to take some photos. Since we were having so much fun in the water, and I had to put my camera away in the locker area I only got fourteen pictures.

After the water activities we went to Kari's apartment for cake and ice cream and for the birthday girl to open her presents. It was a very nice afternoon.
